Fall Grunge

I hope everyone is having a good Tuesday! I don't know about you, but my week has been pretty busy. I drove 6 and a half hours home on Wednesday for my cousin's wedding. She got married Saturday and the wedding was absolutely beautiful. Weddings always fill me with so much joy. I spent all of last week on Pinterest, pinning about weddings. I love, love, LOVE weddings. Because I was home all week for the wedding, I decided to take the week off from blogging. That is why I am posting today instead of this past weekend.

This outfit below is a fall favorite. It is simple, easy, and very comfortable. You can never go wrong with a pair of boots, jeans, and a good sweater.

This thermal sweater is from Free People and I have a couple of them. They aren't too expensive for how great the quality is, so I recommend them to anyone. This burgundy/purplish color is my favorite color. I also have the sweater in grey. The material of this sweater is soft and very stretchy, and I believe it flatters anyone. Free People always has the perfect things for layering, and this is definitely one of those things. If you have short arms like me, you can easily role up the sleeves. Or, if it is super cold out, you can leave them long to cover up your hands for a little extra warmth. If you're going for a casual look, this is the perfect sweater.

I talked about these jeans in my first post, but they deserve to be talked about again. They are my favorite pair of jeans and I wear them with almost everything. They are more expensive than most, but they last for so long and are so comfy that it feels like you're wearing leggings. They are definitely worth the money.

Whenever I wear this sweater, I always wear a cute bralette underneath it. This one is from Victoria's Secret, but there are so many stores that carry cute bralettes for a good price. Free People and Urban Outfitters are my go-to stores for bralettes because they are comfy and priced so well.

These combat boots I am wearing are from Steve Madden and I have had them for years. Worn-in leather is one of my favorite looks, which is why I love these boots so much. When I wear combat boots, I either like to wrap the laces around the whole shoe and then bend the top of the boots down like a collar. Or, I like to make the laces super loose and not even tie them to give off a grungy kind of look, which is what I did with this outfit. Since I have had these boots for so long, the front of the boot has lost some of its leather, but that can be fixed easily. Just buy some leather paint to restore the boots and they look brand new again.

I hope you enjoyed this simple, comfy look! Check back next week for some more fall styles. Happy Tuesday!
